Schedule an Event
The ARTN was created to serve as a tool and resource for our member facilities and their communities. As such, members are encouraged to use this technology outside of regularly scheduled ARTN events. Perhaps to conduct a face-to-face meeting or a long-distance interview – there are many potential applications for video teleconferencing, so make this resource work for you.

To ensure a successful experience using ARTN, please follow these steps:

Note: Scheduling requests must be received by ARTN at least 7 days prior to the event date if sites outside of the ARTN are to be connected. Events involving ARTN members only can be submitted up to 3 days prior to the event date, but run a greater risk of encountering scheduling conflicts.
  1. Identify the event logistics:
    1. Participants – which facilities need to be connected
    2. Participant IP Addresses for their video endpoints
    3. Date of meeting
    4. Duration
    5. Event format i.e. lecture, interactive meeting, etc.
    6. What type of visuals will be used? i.e. PowerPoint, whiteboard, etc.
  2. Determine which site is coordinating the call and will serve as ARTN Main Point of Contact.
  3. Download the "Scheduling a VTC" form.
  4. Complete the requested information and submit the form to ARTN via fax: 907-646-3964 or e-mail: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it no later than 3 days in advance of the requested event date.
  5. ARTN staff will contact you in writing to confirm the details of your event.
